With God, Nothing is Impossible:
It is my prayer that this book will speak to each one of us. It may be a painful situation that seems unending; it may be family issues that cause anguish. No matter. We can trust that God is unfailingly with us. That is what Immanuel means - God with us. Just as he was with the women whose stories we encounter - leaders, prophets, mothers and wives - so He is faithful to us.
Let me suggest that this small text might serve well as the basis for a women's Bible study, perhaps in your church. Or maybe you are in a college setting; please consider using it as the launching point for a dorm devotion time. And there are countless other possibilities as well. As one of my kind friends suggested: This is not written only for women!
